Call me resentful, but if i read one more blog post about the "new autumn feeling" or the "changing fall colors", or the "hot cider and cardigan-wearing-crisp-air" i am going to projectile vomit all over my laptop. The closest we have come to Autumn here in AZ is the Winnie the Pooh on (what feels like) terminal repeat and a leftover pumpkin spice candle from 2009. When we are feeling particularly desperate we hole up in the basement to watch Harry potter. It usually ends with me alone, wearing my winter cloak, curled up in a fetal position. Its a sad attempt, but we are just trying to keep up with the Jones's ;)
Something that has made me smile despite my $600 dollar air conditioning bill...
The 30 Rock premiere played the "would you rather" game.

Have you found your "pube shirt"? (watch the last 4 minutes)
I've been getting a kick out of the content inspired ads that Google comes up with in my side bar:
baby face generators
funny dirty joke finder?? (what-ev)

bwhahaha! I love 30 Rock!
And the would you rather part. And Tina Fey. And Matt Damon. I actually think he looks handsome now. Not my cup of tea still. Good thing since he is Lemon's pube shirt.
Amen to that! Hawaii has no fall. Im a little bitter about it. But when winter comes around I will go to the beach and laugh in the face of all the people freezing.
i was thinking the same thing about all the stupid fall stuff. down with fall! i hate autumn! i will never again wear a cardigan! or boots!
oh well. time to bust out the pumpkin candle...
We woke up to 62 degrees here in Houston today and I yelled..."kids, it's COLD outside!" Then I realized that 62 degrees is not cold but when you are used to 100 everyday...it feels darn good. I feel your lack of season saddness. No fall here! Summer returns tomorrow! BUT I am putting up the fall decor today. I refuse to wait longer.
But remember how nice it is in November? And you can laugh at all the Autumnophiles (that is SO not a word) when they are shoveling icy sidewalks and you are sipping a frosty beverage under an orange tree... you'll have your revenge.
loved the 30 rock premiere. i've totally found my pube shirt. and i love the fall here in seattle so uh.... don't read my post about it from a week or so ago. i'm totally guilty of being a part of the "woohoo it's fall" blogging band wagon.
